If you need after hours or weekend service, you should call the same number, which will patch you through to our answering service. If you indicate that your call cannot wait until office hours/is an emergency, the answering service will forward your message to our on call technician, who will return your call promptly. If your call can wait until office hours, they will collect your information and e-mail it to our office staff, who will return your call once the office opens on the next business day.

BDL Heating & Cooling requires that all customers who wish to cancel an appointment do so with at least 24 hours notice. Because we travel to you, planning our travel routes in advance is an important part of staying efficient and keeping costs down for our customers. If you do not provide at least 24 hours notice for a cancelled appointment, you may be subject to a $75 missed appointment fee.

Yes, BDL Heating & Cooling is a licensed Sheet Metal Corporation (License #101) and a licensed Plumbing Corporation (License #4172).  We also have the appropriate Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance. All customers are entitled to ask for a copy of our certificate of insurance.

Yes, we provide free estimates for new installations, replacement systems and existing system modifications.

BDL Heating & Cooling provides a labor warranty on all new installations, replacements and repairs. Our typical labor warranty on new installations and replacements is 1 year and on repairs is 30 days (for related issues). We also process warranty claims for manufacturer parts warranties.

All HVAC equipment needs to be cleaned and inspected at least once per/year. However, it is recommended that you have your heating system checked in the Fall and your air conditioning system checked in the Spring.

Our maintenance program covers your seasonal cleaning and inspection. In addition, you will also get automated scheduling (we call to remind you when you’re due for a maintenance), priority service in the event of a breakdown, access to night and weekend service and a 40% discount on our after hours fee.

BDL Heating & Cooling can work with you to provide many different options for filtration. All systems come with at least a 1” pleated filter. However, we also offer the Air Bear Filter system, which is a 5” pleated filter and the AccuClean Electronic Filtration system.
